Immaculate Conception Church in Worcester welcomed new Deacon David Soares and his wife Alessandra to our parish community. Deacon Soares will be our full-time deacon while Deacon Deignan will be preaching one weekend a month.

After 15 years of faithful and generous service at Immaculate Conception Parish, ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ฒ๐ถ๐ด๐ป๐ฎ๐ป is retiring. We are so grateful for your loving witness and for how you've accompanied us in our faith journey. We are also grateful to your bride ๐ ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ฒ who has also given selflessly of her time and talent throughout your ministry. We have been blessed by you both and are grateful that you will remain with us as parishoners! May God bless you both!

On Sunday, May 3rd, at St. Paul's Cathedral, our Confrmation
students received the Sacrament from Bishop McManus
alongside many other recipients from other parishes in the
Diocese. It was a wonderful celebration for all involved. Thank you to Stephen Sycks for sharing his wisdom and
knowledge of the Catholic faith in his teaching role
for another Confirmation year. May God's holy blessings be upon our
Confrmands as they continue to work for the Lord as they grow in their faith and share in the ministry of the Church.

On Sunday, May 3rd, 6 children received their First Holy Communion and participated in the Crowning of Mary. It was a glorious day filled with love. May the Lord continue to bless them as they grow in their faith. A special thank you to their teachers, Nicole Hermance and Joanna Jalbert, who shared their time and faith to prepare the children for this very special day. FEAST OF ST CATHERINE OF SIENNA, APRIL 29.
Saint Catherine of Sienna is a mystic, a doctor of the Church, as well as a patroness of Italy and of Europe. Catherine was sought out as a spiritual director, and she played an important role in ending the Avignon papacy. She only lived to the age of 33 and was canonized in 1461.

Today students from our Religious Education classes filled back packs with personal care essentials that will be passed out to people in need in our community. Thank you to the St. Vincent de Paul Society for donating all of the supplies for the backpacks.The children also made cards with inspirational messages. We are a parish blessed with wonderful families.
