The Catechism of the Catholic Church proclaims that "from infancy to death human life is surrounded by their [angels'] watchful care and intercession. Beside each believer stands an angel as protector and shepherd leading him to life. Already here on earth the Christian life shares by faith in the blessed company of angels and men united in God" (CCC, n. 336).

Jesus Himself spoke of angels watching over children in the Gospel of Matthew. “See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my heavenly Father.” (Matthew 18:10)

Today we celebrate the 𝗙𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗟𝗦: 𝗦𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗠𝗜𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗘𝗟, 𝗚𝗔𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗟, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗔𝗣𝗛𝗔𝗘𝗟, archangels who are venerated in the tradition of the Church. 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 (means "Who is like God") was the archangel who fought against Satan and all his evil angels, defending all the friends of God. He is the protector of all humanity from the snares of the devil. 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹 (means "Strength of God") announced to Zachariah the forthcoming birth of John the Baptist, and to Mary, the birth of Jesus. His greeting to the Virgin, "Hail, full of grace," is one of the most familiar and frequent prayers of the Christian people. 𝗥𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 (means "Medicine of God") is the archangel who took care of Tobias on his journey and is the patron saint of travelers and medical workers.
🙏Saints Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, PRAY FOR US!🙏
