Pool Day + Ice Cream = The Perfect Summer Friday!

This Friday from 4:00–7:00 PM, Uhlman's Ice Cream Truck will be parked at the Worcester JCC Outdoor Pool!

Bring the family, take a dip in our beautiful outdoor pool, cool off at the splash pad, and treat yourself to your favorite ice cream flavors. There's no better way to kick off the weekend than sunshine, swimming, and sweet treats with friends and family.

It was a wonderful evening filled with meaningful connections, live music, and community spirit. Events like these remind us of the power of coming together to support a cause that makes a lasting impact on local children and families.

A special thank you to Morgan Borenstein for hosting this fantastic event and helping bring our community together in support of the Worcester JCC Youth Scholarship Program. We are also grateful to Morning Son for providing an incredible live performance that made the evening even more memorable.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended and contributed. Every dollar raised through Parties Around Town helps provide access to camp, preschool, after-school programs, swim lessons, and other life-changing opportunities through JCC youth scholarships.

Summer camp starts NEXT MONDAY, and in order to provide privacy for our campers, we’re making a temporary change to locker room access during camp hours.

Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM (June 22–August 28)
All adult members are asked to use the Spa Locker Rooms on the lower level during this time. Access will be automatically provided for the full 9 weeks of camp.

Need to shower or change outside of those hours?
You’re welcome to use the 1st Floor Locker Rooms during:
-5:15–7:30 AM
-2:00–8:30 PM

From JCC camper to Head Varsity Basketball Coach.
Congratulations to Zack Berman on being named the new Head Boys Varsity Basketball Coach at Wachusett Regional High School!

For more than 40 years, Bob Berman has helped thousands of children develop confidence, teamwork, and a love for sports through Worcester JCC Summer Sports Camp and Jr. NBA Basketball. Among those young athletes was his son, Zack, who grew up in our programs before becoming a standout player, educator, coach, and now the leader of the Wachusett boys basketball program.

Stories like Zack's remind us that the impact of youth programs extends far beyond the court. The friendships, mentorship, skills, and values developed today can shape leaders for generations to come.

As another summer begins, we're proud to continue that tradition and help inspire the next generation of athletes.

Today is Juneteenth, a holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved people in the US and the notification of the Emancipation Proclamation in Texas, over two years after it was signed into law. The Worcester JCC would like to extend a Happy Juneteenth to all in our community who celebrate.

Designed for individuals with Parkinson's disease and other mobility-related conditions, this supportive class focuses on improving strength, balance, mobility, and independence through safe, guided exercises with seated and standing options available.

Leah brings extensive experience working with older adults and individuals living with Parkinson's, making this a great opportunity to try a potential new addition to our group fitness schedule.
