June 13 2026 (Wormtown Reunion)
Fun rock n roll show at the radio station.
Musclecah started right at 7 with a high energy set of speed rock. Loud and fast was just what we needed!
Swamp Roots was next with a set of 60s garage rock. Classics by the Yardbirds, early Stones, blues and some cool originals.
Wray-ons finished up with a nice tribute to Link Wray, great sound, power chords and TONE!
I like this place as it has been booking a diverse set of acts, Bring your own..., art gallery, record store, radio station, movie theatre... and free cookies!

June 12 2026 (Pounders at Husky's Pub)
Catching up on photos...
It's the latest Grade "A" Fancy cover band with a real rock n roll sound with electric bass & guitar. The set list was familiar but the arrangements are much tighter and energetic. Good hear Matt Robert taking lead guitar duties and Rich's solid bass lines.
The lighting in here is difficult . Its either very dark or blue. I might try flash the next time I try to take photos here. It's a friendly place and I enjoyed chatting w/ Donald & Jane, trading rock stories w/ Matt...

June 11 2026 (SPF 4)
Sure felt like summer with the heat and instrumental surf on the common last night. Nice seeing Tony and the band keeping this music alive! And I welcome the Los StraightJackets (covers/ versions) in the mix with their own originals.
Nice to hang out with some Worcester folks and enjoy the weather with some music.

June 7 2026 (Clamdiggers)
Such beautiful weather on Sunday at this unique outdoor venue. The threats of rain, cloud cover and the constant breeze of fresh air kept it cool and made for a great afternoon of music, relaxing with friends and exploring the grounds.
Clamdiggers have a loyal following and this was the most people I had seen at this space. RocknRoll from the 70's, 80s and an extended Dead encore!
Full schedule of music this summer and worth stopping in to see all the antiques and oddities!

June 6 2026 (Mama Kilsmith)
Kept it local to support Serena & Sean's new band on their '1st' gig. Nice crowd with spillover from a private event and Timberyard is now serving ICE CREAM! I had a ginger ice cream and a Ginger beer! Yum!
Lots of 90s hits with a couple 70s, 80s songs for good measure.
Enjoyed getting out and doing the thing, chatting with Sean & Katelyn and Serena's dad!

Quick stop for some ice cream and say hello to Sean & Serena and hear this new duo play, the 'Nosy Neighbors'. Serena has a great voice and both can play so this was fun set. I wish I could stuck around to chat but they didnt break and with the rain I got a little squirrely and jetted out...

May 9 2026 (Pull the Covers Off)
5 bands, one night only tributes from the 90s.
Beck, Saw Doctors, REM, Paramore, 311
Thanks go out to Austin and all of his talented musician friend for putting this series together.
Besides REM & Beck , the rest of the bands were a little 'after' my time, but even though I wasn't familiar with some of the songs I did enjoy everyone's set and the passion in the performances and the dedication to the material.
The Beck tribute was uniquely entertaining as they made it their own, performing on acoustic, ukulele and theremin!
I wasn't sure who the Saw Doctors were, so on the way in I listened and instantly knew the McCrites were up to the task. Lots of energy and dedication to a band they obviously love!
REM got the crowd on their feet and was performed by guys closer to my age which made sense as they played a song that I hadn't heard in ages 'Catapult' from 1983! Fun and faithful to the material.
I know 'of' Paramore but this gave me a greater appreciation of what they are. Hard rocking, great vocals and again passion for the material.
311 closed the night with a surprise for me. I only know Andy & Emily from the C**t & the Coyotes project which is americana, rock and soul so to see them Rap & Rock was FUN! The crowd was into it as well , sang along and was a great closer for the night....
