Sign up for the Fall 2022 EMR Course! All class locations are on campus or on Zoom!

The Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) class, formerly called First Responder, is a “bridge” program between a basic first aid class and the Emergency Medical Technician – Basic class.

As all of you are well aware, the Coronavirus pandemic is in full swing in all parts of the world. In response to help mitigate the spread of the virus, WPI has postponed the start of classes until Wednesday, March 25th, where classes will proceed online. Residence halls will remain closed until at least Saturday, April 4th, at which point a decision to reopen or remain closed will be made. Additionally, during this time of crisis, WPI EMS will be halting all operations until further notice. An announcement will be made upon the continuation of services once campus returns to normal. We hope you all remain in good health during this time, and suggest you follow all local, state, and federal recommendations should you start to feel ill at any point. Stay safe, WPI!
