As much as life in Haiti is constantly disrupted by political instability, economic crisis and natural calamity, life goes on. Slowly but surely, the construction of our Health Center in Cabois continues, thanks to the determination and hard work of the people in the community who are anxious to see this project completed. Along the way, your contribution to this effort provides employment for many who are involved in the construction, as well as hope for a healthier future.

Over the weekend, Mark and Annie were able to meet with our medical team, bring valuable medical supplies and introduce some new equipment for our clinic in Cabois. Gangs have blocked major highways, preventing delivery of fuel and supplies around Haiti. We are grateful for our team’s determination in getting the work done and bringing much needed assistance as the country continues to descend into chaos and turmoil. Please pray for the safety of our staff and everyone in Haiti.

Today is World Health Day! We are reaffirming our commitment to making basic health care accessible to as many families as possible in Haiti. It’s also a day for us to be thankful for our amazing team members.
