Think, Explore, and Discover! Join us at the Family Resource Center, 20 Cedar Street, Worcester, MA 01609, on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 10:00–11:30 AM for a joyful morning of stories, creativity, and hands-on fun! We’ll read Which One Doesn't Belong? by Christopher Danielson, an engaging book that encourages children to think critically and share their ideas. In this story, there is often more than one possible answer, helping children learn that different perspectives can all have value. After the story, join us for a fun "Which Shape Doesn't Belong?" activity. Children will use observation, reasoning, and problem-solving skills as they explain their thinking and explore shapes together. Celebrate Inclusion and Differences! Join us at our Leeds Street location on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM for a joyful morning of stories, creativity, and hands-on fun! We’ll read One of These Is Not Like the Others? by Barney Saltzberg as we celebrate unity, inclusion, and the unique qualities that make each of us special. Through this engaging story, children will build observation skills, critical thinking, and an appreciation for similarities and differences. After the story, children will create an artistic masterpiece using colors that are the same and colors that are different. This hands-on activity encourages creativity, color recognition, self-expression, and fine motor development while reinforcing the concepts explored in the story.
