We had a wonderful day volunteering at El Buen Samaritano Food Program Inc. Worcester, MA. Our team is proud to support their mission – pitching in with sorting donations, stocking shelves, and helping with food distributions for neighbors facing food insecurity.

On May 13, RCAP Solutions' very own Ashur Gurbuz, Residential Loan Fund Manager, took part in a panel discussion at the Massachusetts Councils on Aging (MCOA)'s Spring Symposium – hosted at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. During the session, Ashur shared information about our Home Modification Loan Program (HMLP) and how it supports individuals with disabilities and older adults by helping them live more comfortably, safely, and independently in their homes.

We were also delighted to be joined by Lyndon Nicols and Christopher Lyon from USDA Rural Development (Southern New England Region). RCAP Solutions serves as a "loan packager" for the USDA's Section 504 Home Repair Program, which provides critical funding to families in rural areas to make necessary single-family home repairs and address health and safety hazards. USDA Rural Development's Single Family Home Repair Loans and Grants work hand-in-hand with RCAP Solutions' Home Modification Loan Program, together expanding access to essential resources that help residents remain safely housed.
