Dean’s Scholar (MS student) in Community Climate Adaptation sought!
Today’s communities must respond locally to the impacts of global climate change. Infrastructure inadequacy, loss of land, water resource extremes, and other impacts all require adaptation strategies that are coordinated with multiple stakeholders and consider environmental, cultural, socioeconomic, technological, and policy opportunities and constraints. WPI’s Community Climate (CCA) Master’s Program prepares students for jobs with NGOs, governmental agencies, communities, and institutions as they face these challenges of a changing world.
We are currently recruiting for two new Dean’s Scholars, a position which carries a substantial tuition reduction scholarship for the duration of the CCA MS student’s program (3 semesters); for one of these, we seek a native or highly proficient Spanish speaker for a research project in Puerto Rico, beginning in August 2023.
For more information about the MS degree or the Dean’s Scholarships, please contact Professor Sarah Strauss, [email protected]
