VELVET explores the ethereal side of contemporary art—where mystery, atmosphere and some unexpected emotions take hold. An exhibition of work that moves beyond the obvious, inviting you into worlds that are richly layered, can be quietly unsettling and impossible to dismiss.

There are works of art that whisper. VELVET is an exhibition about lingering in the shadows, the dark minds, dark spaces and nocturnal beauty. There is a strange elegance that lives just beneath the surface of what we fear, dream and what humans feel when the weight of the world is upon them. Work that lingers like perfume on a jacket in the misty early morning.

Curated by Juniper Rag Contemporary, VELVET brings together artists who trust their instincts, challenge convention and make room for the beautifully unfamiliar. There is work in this show that will stay with you for years to come.
