Residents at all Colony Retirement locations recently enjoyed participating in Easy Creative Art classes, where they learned how to create beautiful Neurographic Art!

Neurographic Art is a creative drawing technique designed to encourage relaxation, creativity, focus, and positive brain stimulation.

Residents had a wonderful time turning simple circles and patterns into colorful, expressive works of art while exercising imagination and coordination.

It was a fun, calming, and inspiring experience for everyone involved! 🎨

In honor of Military Appreciation Month, the crafty residents of Colony Retirement Homes made military plaques.

These were given to the 31 veterans (men & women) that reside at each location of Colony Retirement Homes.

Along with the plaques, each veteran resident received a letter stating we’d like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your service, sacrifice, and dedication to our country.

Thank you for all that you have done.

At Colony lll, Michelle was delighted to give them out at lunchtime and all fellow residents gave them a round of applause as they received their gift.

Check out the creativity of our residents as they explored watercolor blob art!

They practiced with premade blob sheets while their own unique creations dried, and the results were full of color, imagination, and personality.

All of our crafty residents were very focused as they created this button art project.
