In the 14 page complaint filed with the city on September 6, Councilor Denise Sierra alleges that Baldelli-Hunt violated a number of provisions of the City Charter.

Sierra out, negating need for council primary WOONSOCKET – With two declared City Council candidates not returning nomination papers with signatures required to run for office, it means that there will no longer be a September primary
There are updates to this incident. The worker is no longer currently employed directly by the city and the elected democrat is running for reelection to his seat. Local media was prevented from reporting on this incident at the time #02895
We have heard more stories about these incidents. People’s housing was being held as a bargaining chip for doing campaign work or they would risk losing housing. Ironic that now this individual works for a homeless support organization #02895
We’ve gotten reports of a candidate in 2020 who used a nonprofit workplace to campaign for office. People were pressured to work for the campaign in order to receive certain needed financial benefits. It doesn’t appear that this person is running for any major seat this year at least not beyond committees and the such but is possibly eyeing a 2024 run for something We’ll reveal any updates we receive on this #02895

We have received direct reports of an elected democrat in Woonsocket who got into a heated argument with a municipal worker that resulted in the democrat physically shoving the employee and having the incident covered up. We’ll update with any info sent to us #02895
