Sirens Project
Our goal is to coordinate specialized rapid deployment teams, supply drops, and general volunteer response.
Sirens Project ASSISTS communities, non-profits, and local authorities through the organization and deployment of VOLUNTEERS, SUPPLIES, and SPECIAL EQUIPMENT in response to natural disasters. By communicating with local law enforcement, churches, and non profit organizations, we aim to identify the greatest need within the impacted community.
Sirens Project operates primarily throughout the Southeast, but will serve wherever God leads.

The remnants of Tropical Storm Arthur brought some heavy rain a little wind to Georgia. We didn’t even have to leave the neighborhood today before seeing some minor tree damage!
Stay safe out there. We are continuing to monitor the weather.

Wiring has been the name of the game this week! Still a good bit more to do over the next two weeks before jumping back on the PUG.
We are still in the process of converting our lift to electric brakes and adding some safety measures to the skid steer as we head deeper into hurricane season.

Working on some projects over the next couple of weeks as we head into Hurricane season!
Today we added two hitch receivers to our grapple in order to move the lift around at the worksite. This was way overdue!
Next up is converting the lift brakes from hydraulic to electric. We will be back on the PUG soon as well. A lot to do this summer!

We took a detour through Ringgold, GA on the way back from our deployment in Goodlettsville, TN.
Scars, in the form of concrete slabs, remain to this day in Ringgold as a result of the April 27, 2011 super outbreak.
The parent supercell responsible for this tornado also produced the Philadelphia, MS EF-5, Cordova, AL EF-4, and the Rainsville, AL EF-5. Evidence of what a perfectly primed atmosphere is capable of.

13 years ago we saw one of the best examples of a classic Great Plains tornado you can witness! Mobile Doppler radar recorded wind speeds of over 260mph as this tornado sat nearly stationary near Bennington, KS.

Some of the beautiful people we have had the privilege of serving today! Every single person has a story to share, and makes the hot, humid work all worth it.
We have a couple of more days here in Goodlettsville, before transitioning into preparation for hurricane season. It’s been a blessing so far!
