BREAKING NEWS: The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 to uphold the Affordable Care Act. This allows Americans to keep their subsidies in the 34 states (like Georgia) who did not setup a state-based exchange, but instead, used the Federal exchange (healthcare.gov).
Here's the skinny: Even though the letter of the law technically says the Federal government can't give you a tax credit, the spirit of the law was to improve access to affordable healthcare. To take those tax credits away now - forcing states to scramble to create their own exchanges - would cause too much disruption.

Tip: Try calling the manufacturer of the drug. Many times they can provide you with a card to get the precription for a very low copay, or even FREE.

Open Enrollment ended on February 15th... or did it?
This tax season will be the first year when uninsureds are charged a penalty. Only 1/3 of the uninsured people surveyed said they understood they'd be fined, so there is pressure on the Obama Administration to extend Open Enrollment until April 15th. For most people, the 2014 penalty is 1% of your income and for 2015, it will increase to 2% of your income.
Obama pressured to re-open ObamaCare Pressure is building on the administration to give uninsured people a second chance.
