Formed from Mercury/Zeitgeist and Funny Farm Studios, both previously owned and operated by Jim Peebles, Peebles Productions has managed and produced over 100 televised productions and commercials as well as assisting in the management of many other successful productions. Jim's first studio, The Animators in Pittsburgh produced work for George Romero's CreepshowI-II which began Jim's work on larger scale productions. Recruited to head the animation division at Atlanta's Crawford Communications, Jim bought the animation department when it was spun off. As an animator, Jim worked on Animaniacs and Spiderman: The Animated Series and has had clients ranging from PBS to Turner Broadcasting(Cartoon Network). Jim has also been instrumental in developing new talent through teaching at prestigious colleges such as Savannah College of Art and Design. Peebles Productions is staffed with some of the best animators in the business and has the savvy to pull together international talent to best serve the specific needs of the project. Resources from Sony Pictures, Warner Brothers, Giant Studios, Disney, and Colorland, LLC in China, can all be brought together for large-scale productions. The company is also establishing ties to India, South Korea, France and Canada.
