No Pride in G3n0cide!

At Queens Pride 2026, we once again witnessed the zi0n1$t-led LGBT Network violate the origins of Pride as a movement against police brutality led by Black & Indigenous trans women. Their takeover of Jackson Heights included a foul parade of cops, politicians, & corporations hiding behind rainbows to mask their complicity in the genocide of PaIestinians & exploitation of our communities.

We amplify the demands of the Queens Pride Boycott initiated by and , ongoing since 2024!

ཉི་མ་སྤྲིན་པའི་འོག་ནས། གཙང་ནས་མཚོ་ཡི་བར་དུ། ཁྱེད་ནི་ཁེར་རྐྱང་མ་ཡིན།
From the rivers to the seas, we are all connected across the seemingly impossible & immovable. Boycott Queens Pride & Free PaIestine!

Repost

The boycott of Queens Pride is STILL ON! Pride is anti-police so we say Boycott Jackson Heights Pride! No Pride during Genocide!

Tibetan Equality Project and Centro Corona demand an end to the Zionist sponsorship of Jackson Heights Queens Pride in solidarity with q***r and trans Palestinians. We also invite other anti-Zionist Queens q***rs and groups to join us in uplifting the Palestinian-led Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) and rejecting Israel’s brutal military occupation of Palestine.

If Queens Pride is to be rescued and taken back, it begins with these demands:

• Oppose the Zionist-led LGBT Network, Zionist and racist organizers of Queens Pride.
• Condemn the settler-colonial apartheid regime of Israel and its genocide of Palestinians.
• Keep Cops and Corporations out of Queens Pride.

In the spirit of this boycott, join for a screening of q***r and trans Palestinian films today (Saturday, June 6). See you there! ❤️‍🔥

As many immigrant/refugee communities in Queens are being targeted by increased surveillance and policing, we’re sharing some Know Your Rights materials in Tibetan. Please send to your family and friends, flyer in your neighborhoods, and connect with people who need support.

Multiple downloadable materials available at the link in our bio.

Thank you for the flyers posted in these slides 🪷

Thank you to all who joined our celebrations for Tibetan Calligraphy Day 2026! 🌾

Special appreciation to Gen Jamyang Dorjee Chakrishar la, Jetsun Kunphenling Center, and Himalayan Elders Project, all of whom generously offered their knowledge, space, and energy to organizing this event.

Inside of Tibet, Calligraphy Day has become part of a wider movement to revitalize Tibetan languages and their presence in our day-to-day lives. Gen Jamyang Dorjee la emphasized that writing our names (and beyond) in Tibetan is a way of practicing freedom and deeply understanding ourselves, our communities, and our homelands.

In the spirit of these ongoing efforts in and outside of Tibet, please feel free to continue practicing your Tibetan scripts with the event workbook (available in our bio). Happy writing!

Join us for a celebration of Tibetan Calligraphy Day on May 1!
Traditionally observed on April 30 (4/30), Calligraphy Day honors Tibetan written scripts by highlighting the 4 Tibetan vowels and 30 consonants.

We welcome renowned calligrapher Gen Jamyang Dorjee Chakrishar, who will demonstrate calligraphy techniques and support us to create personal signatures in Tibetan.
We will also practice simple blockprinting, a traditional technique long used in Tibet to print scriptures, prayer flags, document seals and beyond.

Hosted by རྗེ་བཙུན་ཀུན་ཕན་གླིང་། Jetsun Kunphen Ling Center in collaboration with Lhema Kyiduk & Himalayan Elders Project, this event uplifts Tibetan and all Indigenous communities across the world revitalizing our native languages through learning, creativity, and experimentation.

Tea, snacks, and masks will be provided. See you there! 🪷🐚🌿

Lhema organizes ourselves as a Kyiduk.
Kyiduks are self-governed affinity groups of people sharing homelands, refugee settlements, jobs, and beyond. 🌙🏔️🌟

Rooted in the principle of kyiduk chikpa or being together through joys and sorrows, Kyiduks are a Tibetan tradition of caring for each other - an innovation of survival. They provide direct ways to give and receive aid, support community wellbeing, and meet people’s needs without institutions like governments, banks, or nonprofits.

Inspired by the Lhema (braids) in our elders’ hair, our Kyiduk formed through shared experiences, values, and visions of new possibilities. 🌱

We recognize that our fates, as Bhoepa, are entwined with those of all living beings.
Like the plaits adorning our grandmothers’ crowns, we weave our limbs together to uncover the stories in them, knowing that we are all connected across the seemingly impossible. ☀️

ལོ་གསར་བཀྲ་ཤིས་བདེ་ལེགས། Losar Tashi Delek!

Lhema Kyiduk began our preparations for the new year by block-printing Losar greeting cards for our elders. Woodblock printing is a technique that has been practiced in Tibet for centuries, traditionally used to print lungta (prayer flags), scriptures, and more.

Adorned with horses and conch shells, these cards are our offering to our community for the upcoming Fire Horse year. 🐎🐚
