What does the first half of 2026 mean for real estate here in Silicon Valley?

Nationally, it's been a turbulent six months - geopolitical conflict, stubborn inflation, shifting political tides - and housing markets across much of the country have started to soften and rebalance as a result.

But Silicon Valley isn't following that script. This market is built on structural conditions that don't shift with the news cycle: scarce land, limited inventory, high barriers to new construction, and sustained demand. Additionally, the rapid evolution of AI is generating a level of wealth in this region that is showing up directly in the real estate market, and that pipeline is growing, not slowing.
