Start your engines for a new tradition, The Inaugural Pistons and Props Car Show Was a Smashing Success!
What an unbelievable day at the Triple Tree Aerodrome! We are thrilled to report that our Inaugural Pistons and Props Car Show was an absolute home run, welcoming over 1,000 spectators and enthusiasts to our beautiful property, alongside over 200 registered show vehicles.
The show field boasted an incredible diversity of engineering, spanning a phenomenal variety of categories including Aircraft, American, European, Exotic, Off-Road, and JDM classics. Attendees were treated to an array of truly unique, jaw-dropping machinery. Standouts on the field included stunning Ford GTs, elite McLarens, the highly anticipated Corvette ZR1x, and a newly released Lamborghini Temerario that is one of only three in existence worldwide!
In keeping with Triple Treeโs signature boutique nature, we wanted to ensure our awards were just as special as the vehicles on display. Each Fanโs Choice trophy was custom-crafted by a volunteer trophy maker, resulting in one-of-a-kind, unique pieces of art for our winners to take home.
These incredible, handcrafted awards were chosen entirely by the people through our Fanโs Choice voting system. Congratulations to all of our inaugural category fans choice champions:
๐ Aircraft Winner: 1943 Howard DGA-15P
๐ American Winner: 1950 Chevrolet 3100
๐ European Winner: 1959 Porsche 356A
๐ Exotic Winner: 2019 Ford GT
๐ Off-Road Winner: 1976 Ford Bronco
๐ JDM Winner: 1995 Acura Integra GS-R
Beyond the beautiful lines of the cars and aircraft, the true heart of this event was its purpose. We want to remind everyone that all proceeds from Pistons and Props go directly toward maintaining our world-class, 400-acre aviation oasis and expanding life-changing scholarship opportunities for young men and women in our Aviation Centered Education (ACE) programs.
A massive thank you to everyone who registered a vehicle, purchased a ticket, volunteered, or came out to support us. You made our very first car show unforgettable, and we are already looking forward to hosting everyone again next June!

Here's a to 2024's South Carolina Breakfast Club meeting at Triple Tree. Every other Sunday since 1938, pilots and aviation enthusiasts have met for breakfast at an airport somewhere in South Carolina and a few surrounding states, only missing meetings during World War II when aircraft fuel was not available, though pilots are a resourceful bunch and many figured out how to fly on car gas!
The tradition continues this August at TTA, so bookmark this page and check back soon for details: https://tta.aero/scbc/
