Meet the owners and founders of Mama Rosa’s Tropical Ice, Erwin and Anayancy Fernandez. For the past 24 years, Mr. and Mrs. Fernandez have brought delicious and authentically rich shaved ices to the Northern Virginia area. Recognizing a gap in the community, they took the opportunity to introduce shaved ice with a Central American twist✨.

It was originally founded in 2000 as Mama Rosa’s Ice, with a location in Arlington, Virginia, the business idea came from Anayancy’s older brother. With his inspiration and the Fernandez’s vision, Mama Rosa’s Tropical Shaved Ice has proudly served the Northern Virginia community ever since🍧.

Looking ahead, Mama Rosa’s Tropical Shaved Ice plans to continue serving its community and expand to nearby locations.

We are extremely grateful to the community for their support and love for our shaved ices and look forward to continue serving you all❤️.

Mama Rosa’s Tropical Ice serves the Northern Virginia area with four locations throughout Woodbridge and Manassas.
