🌱 Առաջիկա մեկ տարվա ընթացքում ATP-ն Լոռու մարզի Ծաղկաբեր համայնքում կանտառապատի 17 հեկտար հողատարածք։
«Armenia 17 x 17» կլիմայական պայմաններին հարմարեցված անտառային տնտեսության փորձնական ծրագիրը Եվրոպական անտառային ինստիտուտի (EFI) FORWARDS ծրագրի շրջանակում Armenia Tree Project-ը կիրականացնի մրցութային դրամաշնորհով։
Տնկման համար կօգտագործվեն ATP-ի տնկարաններում աճեցված տեղական պայմաններին համապատասխան ծառատեսակներ։
Վերականգնողական աշխատանքներին զուգահեռ ծրագիրը կներառի նաև բնապահպանական կրթական և իրազեկման միջոցառումներ 3–5 համայնքներում՝ խրախուսելով տեղաբնակների ակտիվ մասնակցությունը։
Ծրագրի շնորհիվ կստեղծվի առնվազն 20 աշխատատեղ, բնապահպանական և սոցիալական արդյունքով, կկարևորվի նաև կանանց ներգրավումը։
Այս փորձնական ծրագրով ATP-ն կվերահաստատի գյուղական համայնքների կայուն զարգացման և անտառների դիմակայունությունը բարձրացնելու իր հանձնառությունը։ 🌲
Over the next year, Armenia Tree Project will restore 17 hectares of degraded land in the community of Tsaghkaber, Lori Province.
Through the “Armenia 17 x 17” climate-smart forestry pilot, funded by a competitive grant under the European Forest Institute’s (EFI) FORWARDS programme, ATP will establish a new forest using native tree species grown in its nurseries and adapted to local conditions.
Beyond tree planting, the project will engage 3–5 communities through environmental education and outreach activities, encouraging local participation in forest restoration efforts.
The initiative will also create at least 20 jobs, delivering both environmental and social benefits, with a strong focus on the inclusion of women.
Through this pilot, ATP continues its commitment to strengthening forest resilience and supporting sustainable rural development across Armenia. 🌍

Շրջակա միջավայրի համաշխարհային օրը՝ հուլիսի 5-ին, տրվեց ATP-ի և Domus-ի գործակցության մեկնարկը

ATP ԲՀ գործառնական տնօրեն Արամ Մովսիսյանը և «Domus» ՓԲԸ կոմերցիոն տնօրեն Արթուր Ասատրյանը ստորագրեցին հուշագիր, որի շնորհիվ կմիավորվեն երկու կարող ուժերի ջանքերը հանուն Հայաստանի բնության։

ATP ԲՀ գործառնական տնօրեն Արամ Մովսիսյանը նշեց, որ ATP-ի համար կարևոր է տեղական ընկերությունների և նվիրատուների հետ գործակցությունը․ «Ողջունելի է, երբ հայկական խոշոր ընկերություններն են դրսևորում պատասխանատվություն երկրի բնության հանդեպ»։
Գործընկերային այս տեսակ նախաձեռնությունները COP 17-ին ընդառաջ ցույց են տալիս կենսաբազմազանության հարցում մեր անելիքներն ու ներգրավվածությունը։

«Domus» ՓԲԸ մարքեթինգի բաժնի ղեկավար Գառնիկ Գափոյանի խոսքով «Domus»-ի համար կարևոր են բնապահպանական նախաձեռնությունները․

«Մեր ընկերության ուշադրության կենտրոնում ոչ միայն բիզնեսի զարգացումն է, այլև շրջակա միջավայրի և համայնքների զարգացման պատասխանատվությունը»։

Այս նոր գործակցությունը, երկարաժամկետ դրական ազդեցություն ունենալուց բացի, կարող է դառնալ լավ օրինակ այլ ընկերությունների համար՝ ցույց տալով, թե ինչպես կարելի է սոցիալական պատասխանատվությունը վերածել իրական ու չափելի ազդեցության։💚

On World Environment Day, June 5, Armenia Tree Project and Domus officially launched a new partnership aimed at supporting environmental initiatives in Armenia.

ATP Field Operations Director Aram Movsisyan and Domus Commercial Director Arthur Asatryan signed a memorandum of cooperation, bringing together the efforts of two organizations committed to supporting Armenia’s environment.

Highlighting the importance of local partnerships, Aram Movsisyan noted: “We highly value collaboration with local companies and donors. It is encouraging to see major Armenian businesses demonstrating responsibility toward the country’s nature and environment.”
In the lead-up to COP17, initiatives like this showcase how collaboration can turn commitment into action, reinforcing our shared responsibility to protect biodiversity and strengthen environmental stewardship.

According to Garnik Gapoyan, Head of Marketing at Domus, environmental stewardship is an important priority for the company.
“Our focus extends beyond business growth. We also recognize our responsibility to contribute to the development of communities and the protection of the environment,” he said.
In addition to creating long-term positive environmental impact, this new partnership can serve as an example for other companies, demonstrating how corporate social responsibility can be transformed into meaningful and measurable action.💚

Earlier this month, WSL experts Tobias Kühnhanss and Kathrin Streit visited the FORACCA pastureland restoration site in Mets Sariar together with ATP staff 🌱❄️
The day began in snow-covered Mets Sariar, where late spring weather still made the forestry planting site inaccessible during the visit. From there, we continued to ATP’s Hrant D**k Forest, Mirak Nursery, and Environmental Education Center in Margahovit, where discussions focused on restoration, nurseries, landscapes, and climate resilience. 🌿
The contrast between the two locations - winter conditions in one landscape and spring in another, all within the same day - was a reminder of the diversity and complexity of restoration work across Armenia’s different microclimates. (And yes, all these photos were taken on the same day 😄)
Special thanks to our colleagues from WSL for the thoughtful exchanges throughout the visit.
This activity took place within “The Forest Restoration and Climate Change in Armenia” (FORACCA) project funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and co-funded by the four implementing organizations under the Forest Alliance of Armenia, including Shen NGO, Armenia Tree Project Charitable Foundation (ATP), My Forest Armenia NGO (MFA), and Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC). The project is implemented in collaboration with the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow, and Landscape Research (WSL) and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
