In the Late 1930's the Minneapolis Brewing Company, new Grain Belt Breweries, Inc., produced and circulated thousands of this attractive poster entitled "Girl in the Barly Field" Within days, thousands of comments were received from the public claiming that the poster was very suggestive and daring. it was also suggested that all posters be reclaimed and the program discontinued. The few original posters that still exist have become valuable collectors items. This print is a Minnesota Brewing Authorized throwback to this iconic ad.

Started in 2004, the Leinenkugel's collectible tin tacker signs released for the Leinenkugel's Annual Family Reunion events are highly prized, numbered limited-edition collectibles that capture the spirit of the Chippewa Falls brewery. If you were patient, you may have even gotten them signed by some of the members of the family like Jake, John, and Dick Leinenkugel.

This style of short, round "ball tap k**b" (or tap marker) was used primarily from the 1930s to the mid-1950s. When Prohibition ended in 1933, federal and state governments introduced strict regulations requiring bars and taverns to clearly label the specific brand of b**r being dispensed from every tap. To comply with the law, breweries produced these compact, spherical k**bs—often made of chrome-plated metal, resin, or Bakelite with an enameled face. By the late 1950s and 1960s, breweries transitioned away from these small ball k**bs in favor of much taller, more distinct handles to better catch the customer's eye from across the bar.

The Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company announced on July 31, 2020, that it would retire the iconic "Maiden" logo featuring a Native American woman from its advertising, packaging, and merchandise, with the phased-in replacement rolling out through 2021. The imagery was introduced on Leinenkugel's products and signs following the repeal of Prohibition in the 1930s. The profile of the Native American woman was originally chosen to honor the Chippewa Valley and northwestern Wisconsin's "Indian Head Country". Check out this unique Pabst sign. Pabst introduced Pabst Ice Draft (also known as Pabst Ice) during the mid-1990s ice b**r craze, with promotional items and brand gear widely appearing by 1995.
