We offer one of the few outdoor, NHL-size ice and roller rinks in the Pacific Northwest in downtown

Winthrop Rink is a non-profit organization 501(c)(3) that operates the Town of Winthrop's NHL-sized ice and roller rink recreational facility. We offer ice skating, adult hockey, youth hockey and skating lessons in the winter and, for the first time this summer, we will be offering roller skating and roller hockey.

Winthrop Rink Skate-a-Thon - Help us 'Skate the ice away!' 02/26/2026

Before we wrap up this season, we’re skating for something bigger than laps — we’re skating for the future of our community rink. 💚⛸️

For so many kids, the rink is where it all begins.
First steps on the ice.
First friendships in the locker room.
First dreams of scoring the big goal… or one day becoming an Olympian.

What a weekend for Wolverines hockey! 🏒

We’re kicking things off with a huge shoutout to our 14U team, who went undefeated at the Apple Cup Tournament in Wenatchee and came home as 1st Place CHAMPS! 🏆

Not far behind, our 18U team battled hard all weekend at the Apple Cup and earned an impressive 3rd-place finish.

Back at home, we hosted our Great Outdoors Classic 10U Tournament, where both teams put in the work and stacked up valuable learning moments. The White Team finished 4th, and the Green Team took 8th place.

Huge congratulations to all of our players, coaches, team managers, and families—your dedication and support make weekends like this possible! 💚🖤
