Spa day ruined

In the middle of a large “ botanical” themed 7 railing panels job. My daughter Kat’s term for this look. At 75 this I hope will be my last big job like this as I move into semi retirement. The finished and installed panel is about 4’ wide. The 6 other panels ( including two sloped stair panels) range from 5’ long to 7’ long. Wrought finish with a satin lacquer clear coat. FB will mix the photo sequence, sorry, but you’ll get the idea. Lots of forged elements joined with conventional MIG welding.

Fun to get to do some traditional forge work. This just shipped off to a client. Three piece fire place tool set with stand.

Just completed a rather involved install today Of a commission I’ve been working on for months: Four Osprey now settled into the front room of a home on Lake Chelan. SO. Glad to have this be hind me!

"PANDEMIC"
Started this three or four weeks ago. Inspiration should be self evident. Then set it aside. Just finished. 18"H

Needed to bang out some simple coat hooks for a client so thought I'd capture the sequence of steps it takes. I always run a few more or sometimes a lot more than I need so I get enough matching ones. The remainders go into inventory for folks looking for a few stray hooks. These hooks will be drilled with two mounting holes and be mounted on some nicely finished boards. Not shown, but ten of them will be patina'd with a oiled bronze finish and clear coated.
