Thank you everyone for coming out today and for the support. It was a small attendance but that gave me time to figure out our new timing system. We will continue to work on the course and venue to make things better.

Things are taking a little longer than expected getting everything set up at the new Justin Tyme Autocraft location in Winnsboro, so it has me thinking… Maybe it’s time to go ahead and get the old track prepped and kick off the 2026 Texas Rallycross Racing season.

The land is still there.
The dirt is still there.
It wouldn’t take much to get it ready for an event in April.

Before I go fire up the equipment and start cutting the track back in, I figured I’d ask the question.

Who’s ready to go racing again?

If we put together an event, or even just a test and tune day, to get things rolling, who would actually show up?

Drop a comment if you’d be interested and tag anyone you know that would want to come out and run, or watch.

If enough people are ready to send it, we’ll make it happen.

If you’d come, comment “I’m in.”

Day 3 - SCCA Rallycross National Championship 2025 11/26/2025

Better Late Than Never
Finally posting the 3rd and final day of the 2025 SCCA RallyCross National Championship. It was an absolute muddy mess of a day, which ended up causing issues on the Focus resulting in a DNF for Quinn and lost time for myself. I hope you enjoy watching it more than we did racing it.

Day 3 - SCCA Rallycross National Championship 2025 Day 3 of the SCCA Rallycross National Championship turned into a muddy mess thanks to heavy rains the night before that continued into the morning hours. It ...

As we come up to the last race of the 2025 season, I decided to showcase the points runs for each class as well as show the points ranking for each drivetrain division. Who do you think will win each class?

Join us for our last race on Nov 30th
TXRX Rallycross #7-2025 to grab you points and lock in your podium position for the season. Or, come hang out and have fun running with us. Awards will be given immediately after the race that day.

Thank you all who came out and raced with us yesterday. The weather was PERFECT. It seemed like everyone had a great time.

The RWD cars were super competitive and are always fun to watch.

We had a total of 9 drivers, and ran 2 lap runs. It was a little bit of a short course but with two laps it resulted in an 81.37 sec runs on average.

We raced counter clockwise for the first 4 runs and then clockwise for the last 4 runs. The track held up really well and never required any changes or maintinance through the whole day. Nobody appreciated that more than me!

Pictured are yesterday's results and the points standings for the 2025 season. You can also check out all the event results and points standings at: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Jl2mRA8i2Asub3kFmn8EVyTzwnfK717wggViPpTjFjY/edit?usp=drivesdk

We have just one more points race for this season on Nov 30, 2025.
TXRX Rallycross #7-2025
I hope to see a lot of you then.

Don't forget to also checkout and attend events with all the other great Rallycross sanctions we have here in Texas. We are so lucky to have so much going on in the great Lone Star State of Texas.

I am canceling the TXRX Rallycross New Year's Eve Celebration Night Race - NO POINTS event as I have a wedding / party to attend that day. Sorry for the late notice. I thought I handled this a couple of months ago, but obviously I failed to do so.

Discussions with the other sanctions about the scheduling of the 2026 season are already underway. Pretty much, we all try to not overlap each other in an effort to provide as much rallycrosss racing we can for you all. Most likely, all of the 2026 Texas Rallycross Racing events will be held at the new Justin Tyme Autocraft location in Winnsboro, TX.

Again, THANK YOU ALL, and we will see you in 2 weeks.

Day 1: SCCA RallyCross Nationals 2025 – Father & Son Battle at HollyTree! (Dual Cam Onboard) 10/26/2025

Day 1 of the 2025 2025 SCCA RallyCross Nationals @ HollyTree Off Road Park, Alabama!

Quinn and I both ran in Modified Front-Wheel Drive (MF) in the 2000 Ford Focus ZX-3 — each of us getting four runs on Friday, October 17th.

At the end of the day:
🏁 Justin – 2nd in MF, 4th Overall
🏁 Quinn – 9th in MF

We started the morning chasing down a tough crank/no-start issue. The Focus was struggling with low voltage and grounding problems that nearly kept us from making our runs. Turns out the ECU ground connection was the real culprit, but we didn’t confirm that until Saturday.

This video shows our dual onboard footage — one camera inside the car showing driver actions, and another facing forward capturing the full rallycross action.

Things Got HEAVY At The SCCA Rallycross National Championship Race 10/25/2025

Sunday at the 2025 SCCA RallyCross Nationals @ HollyTree Off Road in HollyTree, Alabama turned into a full-on mud fest — and our poor Focus took the worst of it. After a full day of slinging clay, we decided to find out just how much weight it picked up.

So we rolled it onto the scales before and after washing… and the results were insane. Over 500 pounds of mud came off this little car. No wonder it felt like it lost all its power by the last run. Well, that and we lost our shifter cables and couldn't find 1st gear. But that's a story for later.

For now, check out the before-and-after footage and see what RallyCross mud really does to an underpowered, worn-out Focus running on pure determination.
