It's the last day of school before winter break- which also means it's Rusty's last day in the library. His final book recommendation is Places We've Never Been by Kasie West. A young woman goes on a cross country trip in an RV and tries to reconnect with her childhood best friend. Will they be able to reconnect? Or have they grown too far apart?

Hiiiyah!! Rusty's practicing his Karate kicks today after reading his next book pick, Karate Prom by Kyle Starks. Sparks fly between two karate phenoms- but they have fearsome exes and fierce enemies to defeat! If you like action packed graphic novels, this one's for you!

Whoops! Rusty was busy yesterday managing his patients and forgot to post! Rusty's book pick was The Emergency by Thomas Fisher. This book follows Dr. Fisher through a year working in an ER in Chicago. Not only does it show what it's like to be a doctor- it also presents life lessons and ways that healthcare can be a foundation for social justice. Feel better soon, snowman!

Are you completely stressed out getting ready for finals? Rusty sure isn't! He's getting an A in self-care thanks to today's book, The *More or Less* Definitive Guide to Self-Care by Anna Borges. This guide provides an a-z list of self care ideas. Good luck on finals, Trevs! You got this!

Rusty's hitting the slopes! He was inspired by today's book, The Bitter End by Alexa Donne. A group of high school seniors go to a cabin for a ski trip- but a nasty winter storm traps them inside. If that wasn't bad enough, they also are trapped with a killer! This thriller will keep you on the edge of your skis!

Pop! Pop! Pop! Popcorn is popping with Rusty's book today: Popcorn by Rob Harrell. This book isn't about popcorn- rather, it's about a 7th grader dealing with one stressful thing after another. His anxiety and OCD threaten to "pop" out of control- how will our protagonist cope? You'll have to read the book to find out!

Rusty thought he would scare us today by dressing as a yeti- but I think his book for the day is much scarier! The Scary Book of Christmas Lore by Tim Rayborn is full of fables of Yuletide monsters like Krampus and Gryla- who might eat naughty children instead of just leaving coal in their stocking!

Rusty's kicking it old school with today's book- Throwback by Maureen Goo. It's a time-travel/romance story about a Korean American teen who gets sent to the 90s- and ends up alongside her teenage mom! Will she be able to get back to her time, or will she be stuck in the "olden days" forever??

Rusty's brewing up a magical potion today! He was inspired by today's book- An Outbreak of Witchcraft by Deborah Noyes. It's a non-fiction graphic novel about the Salem Witch Trials in 1692, written as a story but using real information.

Ahoy, mateys! Rusty's struck gold with today's book- Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller. A teenage pirate is tasked with securing a treasure map located on an enemy ship- thrills, fantasy, and romance follow!

Rusty thinks today's book is a slam dunk! Clutch Time by Caron Butler & Justin A. Reynolds is the second book in the Shot Clock series. It's a story about a teenager who excels at basketball- but has to balance his ambitions on the court with the stress and emotions of real life.

Chef Rusty's cooking up a storm in his kitchen after reading today's book, Chef's Kiss by Jarrett Melendez. It's a graphic novel about a young man who takes a job in a restaurant kitchen- and romance is on the menu. Yes, chef!
