This home owner had gutter installed improperly and was starting to cause issue to not only their gutters, but also their facial boards behind the gutters. The gutters were hung multiple time and allowed more holes in that facia then it needed to be. Here are the results.
- bad sealant
- bad leveling/sloping
- not properly under flashing.
So we tore off all the gutters and filled all the holes!
Gave all brand new 6 k gutters with hidden hangers!

Those are wide-mouth (a.k.a. high-flow) gutter outlets, and they’re a solid upgrade

What they’re used for

A wide-mouth outlet connects your gutter to the downspout, but with a much larger opening than a standard drop.

Main purpose:

* Move more water, faster from the gutter into the downspout
* Reduce overflow during heavy rain
* Help prevent clogging at the outlet point (one of the most common choke spots)

Why they matter (especially in your area)

Up in Washington where you get steady, heavy rain:

* Standard outlets can bottleneck → water spills over the front
* These wide-mouth outlets keep up with 6K systems way better
* Perfect for larger roof sections or valleys dumping water

When you’d use them

These are ideal when:

* You’re installing 6-inch K-style gutters (6K)
* There’s a valley dumping water into one section
* Long gutter runs with fewer downspouts
* Customers complaining about overflow or backups
