Slowly this summer project is wrapping up. Kevin finished the window trim and caulking. I painted the gable end. Next I have to paint the fascia board white and the white trim. I also need to clean up the lower wall and paint that.

Then Kevin can replace the deck. This may never end 😂

It's hard being second in line for fancy feast.

The Hornet wants you to know that the guys without long ears and big bouffants deserve love too.

I decided to do 2 batches of 5, one week apart for beginning of February kiddings then 2 more batches of 4, one week apart for beginning of March kiddings. If you are doing the math, yes, that is 18 goats to kid out and milk. 😳🐐

I've been measured and found lacking. Sidda had the final vote. Lacking opposable thumbs, she used the raspberry of disapproval. Moral of the story; don't be late with the alfalfa.

Kimmy is a master of backwards psychology. She looks like she is plotting to p*e on my pillow but there aren't enough warm hugs in the world to chase her off.

This morning's harvest. 2 nice cukes and one red bell pepper. It looks like a mess behind them, but that is half my onion bed nearly ready to harvest. All the tops are almost dry. The weather should hold perfectly to pull the onions later this week.
