Spring arrives at 11:33 A.M on Sunday.
Another term to describe this day is the Vernal Equinox. According to the Old Farmer's Almanac's article "First Day of Spring 2022: The Spring Equinox" it states that in the Northern Hemisphere the Vernal Equinox "...occurs when the Sun crosses the equator line, heading north in the sky. This event marks the start of spring in the northern half of the globe. After this date, the Northern Hemisphere begins to be tilted more toward the Sun, resulting in increasing daylight hours and warming temperatures."

In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Downtown Wheaton Association, City of Wheaton Community Relations Commission, and DuPage Art League launch the second annual We are Women, an art exhibit celebrating female artists and women-owned and -managed businesses.
This walking exhibit features 25 female artists’ work, in a variety of mediums including pastels, oils, acrylics, fused glass, pottery, and more, displayed in some of Downtown Wheaton’s women-owned or -managed businesses.
