It’s been quite a busy week around here—Across Fields Studio had an event on Tuesday, my parents moved out of our house on Wednesday, I filed quarterly taxes on Thursday, on Friday we had graduation for the summer semester at the Bible school where I work, my business and I moved to new locations on Saturday, had another event for Across Fields Studio on Sunday…and now I shall go to bed. 😅😆

So thankful everything was completed smoothly and in good time with so much help from wonderful people! 💛

I was standing in line at the coffee shop this morning, ready to order my large iced americano with cream, when an older gentleman hurried up to me and said in a heavy accent (he was from the Netherlands) “I’m celebrating my 50th wedding anniversary—put your wallet away, I’m buying your drink!” He told the person behind me in line the same thing before trotting outside to “see if I can find anyone else that wants coffee!”
�It brought such a smile to my face on a morning that was somewhat overwhelming otherwise. 🥰✨

There is something so needful about surrounding ourselves with truth. The truth of our Lord. And as I looked at this print today, it struck me: the Lord answers, on the very day we call on Him. He answers. And He increases our strength of soul—because of who He is and what He does in and through us. We must decrease and He must increase…and in and through Him increasing in us, as we decrease, we are strengthened with His strength—not our own. Not because of us, but because of Him.

Rest in truth today, friends. Immerse yourselves in it! 🌊
