“gray turns to green.” - a soft whisper of hope. Spring has been creeping into an our corner of the world… an abundance of spring rains have been covering Colorado as of late (more than usual) and a green vale, pale + fresh is lacing everything in new life. The branches have been heavy laden with blooms and droplets of dew. It’s so refreshing to take a step outside and see new miracles and new mercies in this season of hope and abundant brave life.

Our film scans came back and I just can’t keep them to myself! Using the art of film is our way of painting with light - dipping our paintbrush in the golden rays of sunset as it sets behind the amber spring fields and dusty blue backdrop of the mountain range. It was a glorious evening for this sun-kissed maternity session. 🤍

✨The sun rays reminds me of the golden threads of each God-gifted moments that are woven together to form your story…your legacy. The art of family, the documentation of love, the preservation of nostalgia. Our prayer is that these we take for you are the photos you will pour over decades from now and be filled with an overwhelming sense of the goodness of the Lord. These are the photographs that your children will one day look over and ask for stories of these golden days, these are the frames you will look at as you reminisce upon those precious ordinary moments that added up - brimming with the sweetest of memories.

Oh what meaningful stories each wedding ring tells. Have you ever pondered the stories each unique ring holds? The story of a man thoughtfully choosing a ring for the woman he so dearly loves. It tells the endearing story of the day he proposes and slips it on his bride-to-be’s finger - heart pounding in his chest. The delightful story of the day they said, “I do” and promised to forever cherish and tenderly hold and support each other in covenant love. It tells stories of the Lord’s constant faithfulness as the couple walks through the good seasons and hard season. The beautiful rambles and curves of life - the years spent together hand in hand, heart to heart. Every story each ring holds is completely different. Full of joys, laughter, tears, love, and hope. Wouldn’t it be fun to ask couples bound by holy love what stories their rings hold?

I (Brooke), just love telling every part of your story through the tiniest to biggest details. To watch your love unfold before me - through each intricate, beautiful detail. I believe with all my heart that the Lord is a God of details and the stories He weave are full of His fingerprints. Each detail perfectly displays His faithfulness and is part of the story He is scripting through your life, your story. 🤍

Surrounded by the dear people you call friends and family. Standing there in the midst of two people promising forever are the friendships who have been an integral part of this couples story. Who have built up, held, laughed, and cried together through each season of life. What a great and precious gift to share this day with your loved ones! 🌿

Tucked close to mama’s heart.

These sweet baby days are so precious and so quick. This little darling is already over a year old! My hope and prayer is that I can be a part capturing these moments for you to remember those gifts of a precious babe snuggled close, the scent of their hair, the feeling of them sleeping on you…close to your heart.

Here I am sitting at my desk surrounded by a homemade iced coffee, my homeschool planner, to do lists and not to mention a whole lot of LEGO bricks peppering the floor of my little office. Glimpses and evidence of a home filled with life. Just our the top of my laptop the flowers in my window box are nodding softly in the breeze outside. The boys are just finishing their quiet time and I am getting a few things finished on my to do list.

It’s be quite some time since I have posted here on our photography account but that doesn’t showcase all the wonderful souls Josh and I have had the honor to photograph. It always brings my heart so much joy to be a part of preserving those precious memories and moments in time for all of our wonderful clients and friends to look back on and marvel at the Lord’s work in their lives in that season. 🌿
