Here is a sample of vegetables that just went on sale at Joocy Froot vegetable stand in Windsor Heights. Grown here at TJs Plants. They are located right off the interstate on the north side of the 73rd street exit. Get them while they last. I drop off every Friday night or Saturday morning.

Our vegetables have gone up for sale at a local produce stand. 8th street exit in WDM, also called the 73rd street exit in Windsor Heights. At this time, white jalapeño, both squash (paty pans, and golden), cherry tomato (red with yellow stripes), yellow tomatoes, white cucumber, lemon cucumbers and a variety of mini bell peppers. Grab some while supplies last. The also sell Adel sweet corn.

Progress of this year’s garden is growing faster, fruiting earlier with more flowers. The trick is conditioning the soil in the fall. This Fall I will demonstrate how I get the soil ready for spring.

Container gardening can be just as fruitful as in ground gardening. The potatoes are the same ones from this year’s video. Then there is squash, blue berries and tomatoes.

Another great radish harvest from our experimental square foot garden bed. The Purple Heart radish and a couple Nero Tondo. These are a spicer radish than the Sora radish from earlier. These radishes are a 7 week harvest from seed to plate.

First round of radish harvest. Sora round radishes harvest in about 4 weeks. I’m experimenting with square foot gardening. Which works well with this type of radish.
