A lot of kitchens today are designed to be seen. This one was designed to be lived in.

Located in Alameda, CA, this kitchen is part of the renovation of the husband’s childhood home, making every decision feel a little more meaningful. While many homes have moved toward open-concept living, the Nobelas embraced the charm of a true kitchen room, complete with classic millwork, furniture-style cabinetry, and timeless architectural details.

Jaryce brought a sharp eye for design to the process, and together through 3D design we refined every detail before construction began. The result is a kitchen that feels rooted in the home’s history while supporting the way their family lives today.

Proof that traditional doesn’t have to mean outdated. It just has to be done thoughtfully!

My clients outside Oakland, CA are renovating their home, which was the husband’s childhood home.
With just 1700 sqft to work with, the kitchen packs a major punch and will serve as the hub for cooking and entertaining.

The next spaces at the Lake Wylie project for client .designs_ are the mudroom and laundry.
The triple herringbone laid brick flooring, natural stone, touches of white oak, and soft gray-green cabinetry give personality to these spaces while connecting them to the kitchen, pantry, and primary bath.

Still to come, the primary closet and entertainment spaces featuring a golf simulator ⛳️

This Miami MCM galley kitchen is getting a fresh look with bold veined stone, a custom curved peninsula, and rich pencil shaker cabinetry.

In this Monroe, LA new construction, my client and her husband couldn’t decide between a bold Calacatta Viola and a more neutral and mild veined stone, so we did both.

We reworked the sink wall window and range wall cabinetry to come to our final design, with a lighter oak stain on the island and coffee bar.

Floor plan now included for those that requested the island size for narrow kitchen layouts.
