Let’s talk tuning, hardware, and customer expectations.

When a truck smokes too much or doesn't shift right after receiving our tunes, the default reaction is often to blame the file. But custom tuning enhances healthy hardware. It doesn't fix broken or worn components.

Revisions are completely normal and often necessary because no two trucks are identical. Take the 7.3L platform, for example: tuning these 25-year-old HEUI oil systems with varying ICP/IPR behavior, aftermarket sensors, and endless performance combos is challenging. What works clean on one truck might need tweaking on another.

That’s why we have a 30-day revision policy. To fine tune your specific setup. But here’s what we need from you:

1. Check for boost leaks: Excessive smoke? Test for air leaks first. Software can't supply air that a split boot is dumping.

2. Be specific: If you can't tell us how many gears your transmission has or which exact gear change is slipping, we can't solve it.

3. Revisions require labor: Tuning is a paid service. Revisions exist to refine a healthy truck within 30 days, not to serve as free diagnostic work for 20 rounds of mechanical troubleshooting.

Verify your hardware, know your build details, and work with us during your 30 days. Give us a solid, leak-free truck and clear feedback, and we'll handle the rest!
