Haymon-Morris Middle School FFA Chapter

We had a great time at Summer Leadership Camp! Our boys team won Leadership Team of the Week along with the other Barrow County Boys!

Slippin’ and Slidin’ into a week of fun! We have had a great time so far at SLC this week!

Last night HMMS FFA members attended the Barrow County CTAE Awards Night.

Rylee Grace Hester earned the Excellence in Agriculture Pathway Award and Audrina Robertson earned the CTSO leader (FFA) award!

We were also happy to see fellow HMMS CTSO members, Rory White representing FCCLA and the FACS class, and Gavin Pugh and Nina Lowman representing Skills USA and the Career class!

State Convention update…

Our Agriscience competitors interviewed today. We had two third place finishes, one fourth place finish and a FIRST PLACE FINISH!

Rosa Dougan-Ondo placed first in Food Products and Processing Division 1 and will move onto national judging.

Alana Sanchez and Mya Dyer placed 4th in state in Plants Systems Div 2

Rylee Grace Hester and Brock Bass placed 3rd in state in Animal Systems Div 2

Britton Bryant placed 3rd in state inPower, Structural Technical Systems Div 1

We have also had a great time at the Ocmulgee Native American Mounds!

We wrapped up our year with our annual banquet with Westside Middle FFA. We recognized all of our competitors of the year. We are also grateful for our 2025-2026 chapter officers and the years of service to the chapter. We are excited to start planning with our newly installed 2026-2027 chapter officers!

Mary Agnes Pasatiempo is our school level winner for the Barrow County Farm Bureau Ag Bookmark contest! Ms. Ashley Lowery, Office Manager of BCFB, came by and presented Mary Agnes with her prize!
