Well it finally happened - my super contractor Martin that can pretty much do anything, couldn’t figure out how to do something and called me for backup. Nevermind that all the crystal packaging for the chandelier was completely mislabeled. And that the picture didn’t look like our fixture. But we managed and it looks wonderful.

Before and After makeover for a cozy familyroom! Replaced the carpet, painted the walls in the perfect teal color, hung the clients favorite photos and shopped for in stock furniture. Transformation complete! 👍🏼

This is how it’s done - Monday completed demo of the master bathroom and bedroom; Tuesday framing of bathroom walls and lowered ceiling; Wednesday electrician wires new lighting and outlets; Thursday plumbing work and Friday closing up the walls with sheet rock. BOOM!
Having a complete design plan at the beginning of the project and then the right skilled contractor makes all the difference for a successful project.

Now this is what I call “sleeping in”.

Fabric recommendations for reupholstering a unique chair. A gorgeous oriental rug provides the color inspiration. My client has fond memories of a dear friend sitting in the chair and couldn’t bare to think of getting rid of it, even though the fabric was worn. Thankfully, our workroom works miracles!

Love this clever way to display books! A little creativity goes a long way to create something interesting and unexpected.
