Today, January 29, 2021 is Thank Your Mentor Day. It is a time to show gratitude to the mentors that have helped support you along the way! Today, Baker's Anchor Mentoring thanks all those that are currently or have been mentors for our program! Each one of you make a huge difference in the child's life, our program and our community as a whole.
We challenge you to think of the mentors that have made a difference in your life... reach out to them and thank them!

We want to thank everyone who donated to our BAM Angel Tree! We were able to serve all of the children in our program and on the waitlist!! Our staff delivered gifts to the families this past weekend and the children were very excited. Thanks for making Christmas a little brighter for the children in our community!

This match is excited about being able to get together again... masked up and all! Mentor Jill and Mentee Karlie have been matched since 2011! During the pandemic, they have stayed in touch via phone calls and texting. Now they are headed out for lunch!!

"What's the best thing about having a mentor?"
Mentee Izach: "He's there for me. I text him when something is going on and we talk about ways we can make it better"

We’d like to thank MaryBeth VanFleet, a supporter of BAM for sewing and providing masks for our mentees! Now they can safely start getting together with their mentors!

We are so proud of Myah who graduated today from Millbrook High School! Standing next to her is her mentor, Rachel. They have been matched for 5 years. It’s been fun to see them both grow over the past 5 years! Congrats Myah!!
