That sweet Friday finish feeling! We wrapped up a very involved lift kit installation for this classic Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler this week. When the Jeep came in we noticed that the rear frame and crossmembers had turned in to swiss cheese after all these years. To fix this we installed a custom fabricated back-half frame and new body crossmembers to mount the new skyjacker lift kit. While we had it in the shop we rebuilt the Dana 300 transfer case as well so 4 wheel drive will come at ease. Any 4x4 serviced or repaired, no project too big or too small here at Blue Ridge Offroad!

Another late model 4x4 leaving the shop this week with an improved altitude. This 2020 GMC Canyon is now leveled to accommodate 265/65R18 tires. If you’re tired of your truck or suv blending in with the rest give us a call.

Took this beautiful new JL Wrangler from mild to wild during the early part of last week’s snowstorm. Hopefully we’ll see the owner out on the trails soon!

We installed an SYE (Slip Yoke Eliminator) and a fresh new Adam’s driveshaft in to a customers XJ last week. This customer won’t have to worry about rear driveline issues anymore even with heavy use and abuse on the trail.

We work on everything here at Blue Ridge Off-Road! From show Jeeps to trail Jeeps and even the rarely seen on the trail, Nissan Pathfinder. The gyms are closed, but this owner was still getting a good arm workout with the old manual steering. Last week we finished up a power steering swap on this classic copper CJ-5 Jeep. Now the owner can steer their rig with ease.

This Ram 2500 has spent more than a few days here at the Blue Ridge Offroad shop over the past 6 years. Modifications include Synergy Manufacturing 3” coils, Bilstein Shock Absorbers, Dodge Off Road, LLC control arms track bar and steering brace, DiabloSport LLC tuner, Magnaflow exhaust, S&B Filters air intake, 35” tires, and a Redhead Steering box. On this most recent visit we swapped in a late model power wagon rear axle with an electronic locker and 4.56 gears as well as regearing the front axle with Yukon Gear & Axle gears. The exhaust was also modified to a rear wheel exit for more sound and extra cool points. 😎 Looking forward to mounting up a new 37” tire and wheel combo in the very near future.

Finished up install this week on a Barnes 4WD radius arm kit for this XJ. While working on the front end we also plated the ‘frame’ and installed new steering linkage. This XJ will be much more capable offroad and roadworthy now that the sketchy short arms with drop brackets and heim steering setup have been replaced with quality components.
