🧘♀️🌿 Sunshine, fresh air, and mindful movement 🌿🧘♂️
Outdoor yoga gives children a chance to slow down, stretch, breathe, and connect with the natural world around them. Through movement and play, children build balance, body awareness, confidence, and calm—all while enjoying the beauty of being outside. 💛
At Tiny Tree School, we love creating moments where children can move their bodies, quiet their minds, and simply enjoy nature. 🌞🍃

There’s something truly magical about watching a life cycle come full circle 🧡
After weeks of observing, learning, and caring for our tiny friends, we released our monarch butterflies—once just tiny eggs—back into the wild today. The children watched in awe as their butterflies took their first flight, a beautiful reminder of growth, patience, and the wonders of nature.
Moments like these are why we do what we do 🌿

Loose parts play is where imagination truly comes to life 🌿
Sticks become bridges, rocks turn into treasures, and a simple collection of natural materials transforms into endless possibilities. When children engage with loose parts, they’re building creativity, problem-solving skills, and confidence—all through play.
At Tiny Tree School, we love watching our students explore, create, and discover using the beauty of the natural world around them.
✨ There’s no right or wrong way to play—just curiosity leading the way.

Curiosity is growing at Tiny Tree School 🌱
Today, our students spent time observing worms and exploring the soil—learning firsthand how these tiny helpers keep our ecosystem thriving. Hands-on experiences that nurture wonder and respect for nature 🪱💚. Thank you to the incredible Texas Worm Farmer for giving us a worm farm and sharing her knowledge with our students—such a special, hands-on learning experience 🌿💚

The forest has its own rhythm…
the wind sways the branches, the birds call back and forth, and the leaves rustle in steady patterns. 🌬️🌳
In Music Class, with Marian Brackney, our Tiny Trees explored that rhythm with silk scarves floating like leaves in the breeze and boom whackers tapping out steady forest beats. 🎶
We practiced listening carefully, moving with intention, and working together to create music that felt just like nature — flowing, playful, and alive.
When children can see the beat, feel the beat, and move to the beat, they begin to understand it deeply.
At Tiny Tree School, learning grows through movement, music, and moments of joy. 🌿💚

Our students had such a meaningful time creating kindness rocks and hiding them around Blue Hole Regional Park to share a little love with our community.
Each rock carries a message of joy, encouragement, and kindness — a small surprise for someone who might need a smile today. If you’re out walking and discover one, it was made with care by little hands and big hearts. 💛
If you find one, feel free to keep it or re-hide it to keep the kindness growing.

🌿🐨 Save the Koalas!
This week our little learners dove into the world of koalas — where they live, what they eat, and why they need our care. After our exploration, the children worked together to create a “Save the Koalas” flag to show their love and support for these tree-dwelling friends.
Learning grows deeper when hearts are involved — and these kids have BIG hearts for wildlife. 💚🌏
Small hands, big messages.
