Sure Shot Labradors

Cinch earned his Rally Advanced title at the Gridley show today. To earn this title, he had to have three qualifying scores. He earned this title with a 100 and two 98’s/100!

Cinch and I had fun at the San Joaquin rally show last Friday! He earned a perfect score of 100 in rally novice completing his title! That was his second score of 100!

Our team, Canines4Christ had our first visit at Robla Elementary. We were very impressed with the staff and students that we met! Our job for the day was to teach the students the difference between service dogs and therapy dogs. We also taught them the proper way to approach a trainer or any dog by asking for permission to pet the dog. We taught them how to pet a dog properly. I was so proud of Cinch because he handled all the children beautifully. At one point an exuberant student leaped over his desk and ran toward Cinch. He met the student with a tail wag! He can do this!

Diane and I supported the Davis police department in their Love on the Run fundraiser. Cinch, Clarence, and Norman had a blast and they were given treats from Pet Express afterwards!!

Sure Shot Labrador Retrievers - new Pet Service

It was my first time with this amazing group of ladies and dogs. I feel very blessed to be a part of this team! It was an exciting day!

We really did have a great day! Thank you, Chris, for suggesting we search for sunny skies!

These three lovely dogs are working on their down stay at Home Depot. A nice paint associate asked if I needed any help. I said not the kind of help you can give me!

Cinch passed his therapy dog certification yesterday! He had to successfully complete various tasks. His tail was tugged, played with roughly by someone he didn’t know, hugged when he was unaware, handled a loud noise, and remained calm when a crowd of kids gathered around him to pet him. There was more, but you get the idea. A therapy dog is different from a service dog as we welcome people to love on our dog. Their purpose is to provide comfort. He will go into senior assistant homes and hopefully some schools to help children that need a loving dog to comfort them!

Cinch wants to wish his brother a very happy first birthday!
