Placer County is asking for the public to weigh in on the proposed placement of SVP William Stephenson as a TRANSIENT. Evidently Liberty Healthcare couldn't find a property owner willing to rent their house to them. The CA Department of State Hospitals requested a gag order, which the judge denied. Please take a few minutes to weigh in. The judge will hear this case on Monday morning.

Do you have friends and/or family who live in Paradise? It's bad enough that the CDRC is releasing a convicted arsonist into a town that was devastated by fire; now they are fighting the relocation of a Sexually Violent Predator into their little community.

Paradise Police Chief Reinbold says members of the community are urged to share any insights they may have as to why housing a s*xually violent predator at 1550 Gate Lane in Paradise is unsafe.

A town hall meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 16, at the Paradise Alliance Church on Clark Rd. starting at 6:30 p.m.

Folks, it is 8:15 pm and the County Board of Supervisors is still listening to public comment from an overwhelming number of people who are screaming about the evils of incarceration and our justice system.

If you want to be heard about the concern of early release of up to 1000 jail inmates to help satisfy the Mays Consent Decree, you need to ACT NOW.

Send an email to [email protected] and tell the Board that public safety is number one and that the residents of Wilton do NOT support early release. The Board will vote tomorrow on the issue.
