We also offer condolences to the family of BJ Fleming upon the death of BJ’s wife Joan, just days after Family Day in October. Joan was a great supporter of Home family days and alumni reunions!

Thanks to all who planned and executed the celebration for our Home brother Stoney Jones. Eight of his Home brothers and sisters attended.

Eight of us joined scores of others to celebrate the life of Stoney Jones, aka Robert Thomas Jones. Thanks to the Highland Springs football alumni club for planning the event and making all of us Home sisters and brothers of Stoney feel comfortable and welcome. Rest In Peace, dear Stoney!

We are sorry to announce the passing of BJ Fleming on Monday, July 13, from cancer. He was a loyal and beloved alumni who will be missed. Our condolences to his family and hopes that BJ now knows peace and rest.

Dear Alumni:
As you know, as always, Alumni Day is set for the third Saturday in May--this year, May 16. Wayne Donahoe, President, and the Executive Board are waiting to see when numbers of cases wane so that we can meet safely. We thought this year to be the last meeting as we dissolve the group because of low numbers attending and too-great effort by a few (food, cooking, travel, etc.).
We hope to send the newsletter in time for everyone to plan to come! Stay tuned! We want a good crowd for 2020.

if you missed Family Day 2019, you missed some excitement and fun!

Condolences to Judd Slachter and family upon the death of his sister Jewel Slachter Reamy. A newsletter addressed to Cynthia Hall was returned with "Deceased" noted on the envelope. An internet search confirms the death, but does anyone have further information? We would like to know if she was buried with her parents. Thanks, Smiley
