Well, we pray that on Sunday, October 13, 2024, it will be that one day for all the invitees in your past and present. Felt nostalgic today…
I normally cook ham for certain holidays, but today it’s for all my teacher friends starting back to school. What a great year it will be! Now back to the ham, what side dishes should I prepare? Biscuits or pan fried cornbread?

As a high school teacher it is important that I teach my students new information to grow. During class discussions, I may ask a question such as "How many of you know about..." If they can't tell me anything about the subject matter, I infer they have no background knowledge about the subject matter. Well how about if I told you having back ground knowledge is as important to grow.

Spiritually speaking, YOU CAN NOT BELIEVE WHAT YOU HAVE NOT HEARD! When it comes to real Bible faith, you MUST hear from God. Come and join us Sunday to discover the source of faith.

Listen, we know personally that moment when you need to hear from God and He seems so far away. STOP that way of thinking. Talk to yourself and remind yourself that God promised to never leave nor forsake us. When you are needing a word to help you with decisions or life happenings most likely it will come through your pastor. He does feed the sheep! See you at church!

Join me this morning and say a prayer over my students ALL students taking the EOC’S and high school exams this week. My confessions are:
they are smart because they are made in His image.
They have no fear-anxiety. We know the devil comes to steal and to kill and to destroy, but superseding that we know God gave them life, more abundantly …God did not give them the spirit of fear…They Fear Not! They have a clear sound mind… focused!
They are well rested and will not fall asleep…”The Holy Spirit is their helper and comforter.

They are wise and retain knowledge.
