Four years ago today I decided to try out something new and make royal iced cookies for my daughter's third birthday party... and thus, WRC was inadvertently born. 🥰🥳 😂

Can't say I'm a golf aficionado, but these Masters-themed first birthday cookies were definitely a hole in one 😉😂⛳

Apparently I do wedding cakes now 🤷😂🥰

Bottom tier is dark chocolate cake with a homemade toasted marshmallow fluff, chocolate ganache and marshmallow buttercream. Middle tier is banana cake with crushed walnuts and a walnut buttercream. Top tier is a milk chocolate cake with toasted almond slices, chocolate ganache and almond buttercream. Frosted in a semi-naked style and topped with a mix of fresh and sugar flowers.

I'm kiiinda in love with it, y'all.

When you really don't do fondant work but the birthday girl *adores* the stuff, you suck it up and figure it out 😂🥰. Chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream and entirely fondant decor. Third photo was the inspiration.

It's pretty hard to beat a moist, family-recipe carrot cake with loads of cream cheese icing; nuts and sugar cookies are the new "cherry on top" 😉😍

I "accidentally" made too much raspberry buttercream and chocolate mousse so obviously I had to whip up a third chocolate raspberry cake "for interior shots" wink wink nudge nudge 🤤🥰

Another chocolate raspberry cake, for an ECU grad party this time. I lightened up the look of this one with a vanilla and fresh raspberry buttercream duo and a fun purple & gold sprinkle mix 💜💛🏴‍☠️

A glimpse at the build of my most luxurious cake to date... Three layers of double chocolate cake, raspberry preserves, homemade chocolate mousse and fresh raspberries, all covered in chocolate buttercream and a semisweet chocolate ganache drip. And then (because why not), it was decked out with luster-coated chocolate strawberries, edible glitter-dipped chocolate cherries, chocolate-drizzled raspberries, a custom sprinkle mix, and edible gold leaf details.
