This pool was uncovered a little later than usual this season and needed some extra attention to get back in shape. We completed a full sand filter replacement, performed a waste vacuum to remove the fine sediment that the old filter was allowing back into the pool, balanced the water chemistry, and reinstalled the handrail and ladder 💦

Bullfrog Pool Service is growing, and we are looking for a skilled, motivated Pool Repair Technician to join our team!
This is a Full-Time or Part-Time, year-round position with long-term growth potential. If you love technical troubleshooting, working with your hands, and have strong mechanical aptitude, we want to talk to you.

Competitive Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour

🔧 Primary Focus: Equipment Repair & Installation
Your main responsibility will be diagnosing, repairing, and installing swimming pool equipment and systems.
Pump and motor replacement & installation
Heater installation and repair
Automation & control system installation & troubleshooting
Salt system installation and service
Filter flushes and sand changes
Valve repair and plumbing repairs
Gasket and O-ring replacement
Inspecting equipment for safety & communicating solutions

🤝 Secondary Responsibilities (Team Player Support):
While this is primarily a repair role, you'll step in to support the team by servicing a residential pool maintenance route (cleaning, vacuuming, and balancing chemistry) only as needed when service demand requires it.

📋 Qualifications:
Experience: 1 year of Pool Equipment Repair preferred.
Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and knowledge of pool systems, hydraulics, and water chemistry.
Requirements: Clean driving record, ability to pass a background check, reliable transportation, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Just performed a much-needed acid bath on this salt cell to remove built-up calcium, scale, and mineral deposits that naturally accumulate over time. Regular cleanings help your salt system operate more efficiently, maintain proper chlorine production, and extend the life of the cell.

A small leak can turn into a big problem if left unchecked!

Today we repaired a drip leak on the suction-side plumbing connection to this pool pump and replaced an old actuator valve to get everything back in proper working order. The system is now leak-free and running smoothly 🏊 👨‍🔧

We replaced another old single-speed pump with a new energy-efficient variable speed pump and upgraded the system by removing the old chlorine tablet feeder and installing a brand new salt system. This customer also just had a fresh liner installed and the pool is currently being refilled - can’t wait to see it all finished up and swim-ready 🏊 🛠️ 💦
