RJR has been drag racing since 1969 on the track, and maybe the street, and built his first Hot Rod, 1940 Ford 3 window coupe w/283 12.5-1 compression sbc, in 1967. Since then has opened RSC Performance Group Inc that owns rscspeedshop.com, efispecialist.com and Radical Street Cars, a small brick & mortar shop specializing in Performance Street Cars, Resto Mods and Pro Street builds and performance mods. Check out the websites. We price match all online stores, and by phone we sometimes beat pricing. (910) 833-7565
RSC Speed Shop is a complete aftermarket, performance site with over 700 manufacturers, while EFI Specialist focuses on Standalone EFI Systems, TBI EFI conversion and conversions and induction, including Forced Induction and Nitrous Systems for Track and Street. Our Mutant Mustang is a 1,200 HP, nitrous fed, daily driver w/4 link back half by RaceTech Racecars in Burlington, NC. The 396 stroked LT1/LS Converted ignition, SpeedTech plumbed nitrous system, is controlled by a Holley HP ECU, Rossler brake in a highly modified 4L60E 4 speed OD transmission. The fabricated 9” housing runs a locker with 4:30 gears sending the Fox Body in the high 8’s down the 1/4 mile on a good day.

We are starting on the F100 431 monster’s suspension. It drives all over the road, so we are replacing all of the bushings, but more importantly, all of the tie road ends. This suspension incorporates replaceable ball joint, tie rod ends, on all of the bars. Check out the next video and you’ll notice that even thought the steering wheel is moving the tie rod isn’t because of the bad ball joint.

We would like to thank all of the people who have been kind enough to follow us. The Puritis that we haven’t tried the followers, but there are a lot of us who love racing!
This weekend we are attending the Street Car Takeover at Rockingham, NC. We won’t have our street car at the event due to valve train upgrades, and I’m not going to blow up a new engine untested, so the “Mutant Mustang” is taking a well deserved break.
It’s not the fastest car out there, but the 396 LT1/LS conversion engine with 2 stages of direct port nos injection , 300-200, sends in down the 1/4 mile track in the mid to upper 8”s. That pretty respectable for a 2500lb car. Back half, cage and chassis setup was done by RaceTech Racecars in Burlington, NC. Russ Farmer is one of the best dragster and door slammer cars in the business. His cars hold countless records in NHRA. I can tell you that our car launches dead straight every time! Check out

November might be a dismal month for turkey’s, but for the rest of us Race Fans, the screaming chickens will be at Rockingham Dragway. The Pro Mods will be back breathing in that cool, fall air and blowing out fire on November 14th. Mark this date on your refrigerator and your cell phones!
