Freedom Steps

On this Memorial Day, take a moment to pause and remember that the gatherings and activities we enjoy throughout the year are possible by those who fought to protect these things but are no longer here with us. Let us remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice and work to be kind to others and continue their legacy.

A wonderful event supporting the Deployed Troops. Many thanks to all who attended , volunteered and reconnected with neighbors.

Sergeant Clauhs was honored to speak at the Freedom Steps 5k event this morning. Freedom Steps works to support deployed military members with care packages. Sergeant Clauhs is a proud Army veteran and a vital member of the Veterans Response Team (VRT) which offers peer support to fellow men and women who have served.

T-minus 12 hours til registration opens for this year's 5k!!

8am - walk up registration begins at Pavilion 2 (we can accept cash, check, venmo, and PayPal)

8:45am - join us at the lion and flagpole for opening ceremonies

9am - race begins and will be timed by Pretzel City Sports

We are 2 days from race day! Day of registration begins at 8am so there is still time to participate.
