Another Ranch Days is in the books.

Yummy food was had and ghost stories were told by the fires. It was a good day. Even the uninvited guest was quiet and cordial.

Ranch days is off to a sweet start. Prep today led to a special evening of Fireside Worship. Thanks to Rob and Barb for being in the band and joining me in my favorite part of ranch days. My poor little mind didn’t want to do 5 things at once tonight. So either I wouldn’t sing or I wouldn’t beat the drum. It was fun regardless. Tomorrow morning is round two! Breakfast at 8! See ya tomorrow !

The good, the bad, the ugly….

Ranch Days is happening in ONE WEEK! Im so excited! Who all is coming?

What does the sneak peek mean? It means plans have changed. The good, not as many sick people at the hospital. The bad, not as many extra hours for me. The ugly no extra $$$ to rent a skid steer or even a dumpster. The result, more fun! Friday night will still be the same. Dinner at 6pm followed by fireside worship. Our song set is on fire, Im so stoked to jam out with the AOK Band! Saturday will start with sunrise coffee and breakfast at 8am. Then we will be working on ranch chores. There is a tree that needs to come down by the house, horses that need a bath, possible boards that need to be replaced, and ranch activities that need to be enjoyed! Lunch is still on too! The evening activities will still be the same, dinner followed by fireside ghost stories. Sunday will be a free day. Sunrise coffee and breakfast at 8. Feel free to stick around as long as you like. Chatting, horse time, horse shoes, or just sitting. Lunch will be leftovers.

I’m always amazed by what God does with these days, Im excited to see what this one holds. See ya’all on Friday!

Ranch Days Sneak Peek

Oh my goodness! We are only TWO WEEKS away from the next ranch days!

What’s ranch days without ranch activities! The schedule for ranch days is merely a suggestion. You are free at any point to take a break and partake in ranch activities. We will have corn hole, horse shoes, volleyball, basketball, and darts! Thank you to Papa and Noahs Shop for the donation of the beautiful corn hole set!

Who all is coming! I can’t wait to see you all here!

We rescued a couple more friends yesterday! Meet Wilykit and Wilykat! My friend Dawn was fostering these cuties and offered them to me! Who am I to say no.

Ranch Days Sneak Peak: FOOD!

In just 3 weeks we will be relaxing at the corral enjoying some home made soul food! I love cooking for everyone as a thank you for your support! Friday night we will have Cowboy casserole with cornbread, salad, and cheescake. Saturday morning we will have COFFEE, sausage casserole, and whole fruit. Lunch will be chicken salad, pasta salad, and some sort of veggie. Dinner will be pulled pork baked potato bar with s’mores for dessert! Sunday will be a continental breakfast and pizza for lunch! Snacks and drinks will be available at all times!

Wanna have a little getaway under the stars? Well I have good news for you! You can attend ranch days AND camp out under the stars! I have been working on the campground; cleaning up and clearing more land for your tent! The campground even has it’s own firepit! Come join the fun in just 4 short weeks!

Allsvin and Falcon will both be in attendance at ranch days and will love all the attention! You can also get a taste of what it’s like to be a ranch hand by helping to feed them at 5:00 pm and 7:00 am each day! We can’t wait to see you all next month!

Ranch Days Sneak Peak!

Good morning my faithful followers, we are down to 5 weeks before ranch days!

Friday and Saturday nights will each have their own entertainment. Friday night the bamd will be back together for fireside worship. This is my favorite part of ranch days. Come enjoy food, fellowship, and fun by the fire as the AOK Band fills the nighr with song. Saturday night we will have campfire ghost stories. Bring your favorite that has been passed down, print one from the Internet, or make one up as you go! If they are too scary, it’s first come first serve for floor space in the house 😱😁😱
