This fine feline family will be getting spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea treated tomorrow then will be off to be barn cats. We always want to return the cats where they came from, but since this is going to be an active construction zone, we felt the safest option would be to relocate them. Their new family can’t wait! 🐈🐈‍⬛🐈💕

We are so heartbroken for this little mittens. 😭

We had her spayed in the beginning of April. Even full grown, she was just a teeny little thing. We got a call from her feeder saying she wasn’t using her back legs, so we went out to get her and bring her to our vet. Somehow, likely through poor genetics since X-rays showed know breaks, she became paralyzed in her hind end. She was in so much worse shape than we thought and was already on her way out, so we gave her one last gift and helped her cross the rainbow bridge peacefully and surrounded by love.

We don’t just TNR (trap, neuter, return) these kids. Each one grows on us and holds a piece of our hearts. We know the risks outdoor cats face and know that their caretakers can only do so much for them, so in cases like this, we will be there as best as we can to continue with their medical needs. We knew this wasn’t going to be a happy ending, but it still hurts. Rest in paradise Mittens, we’re so sorry.

We now have close to another unexpected vet bill near $300 while donations have been just barely trickling in. If you are able and willing to contribute towards her bill, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much for your help!
