From curls and childhood dreams to cap, gown, and diploma.
There were moments she didn’t understand why life was asking so much of her. There were moments I didn’t have all the answers.
But we kept going.
On June 5, 2026, my balanced child walked across the stage and reminded us both that hard seasons don’t last forever.
🎓 Sanai Miller, Class of 2026 🎓
Not just proud of what she accomplished.
Proud of who she became along the way.
I love you, Sanai. 💜

Anger has a bad reputation… but most people misunderstand it.
Most people think anger is the problem.
It’s not.
Anger is a signal.
A signal that:
• a boundary has been crossed
• something feels unfair
• or a need hasn’t been acknowledged
But instead of understanding it…
we’re taught to suppress it.
Or worse—
react from it.
And that’s where the damage happens.
Because anger, when understood,
can lead to clarity.
But when ignored or mismanaged…
it turns into patterns.
Anger isn’t the issue.
The lack of awareness is.

Most people think they’re overwhelmed because of everything they have going on.
But that’s not always the truth.
Sometimes…
You’re overwhelmed because:
• you’re not being heard
• you’re carrying the emotional weight of the relationship
• you’re constantly adjusting to keep the peace
And your body is responding.
Not because you’re weak.
But because something is out of alignment.
Overwhelm isn’t the problem.
It’s a signal.
The question is…
What is it trying to show you?

What women really mean when they say: “I don’t want to argue.”
It’s not that she avoids conflict.
She’s tired of unproductive conflict.
She’s saying:
“I don’t want to repeat myself just to be understood.”
“I don’t want every disagreement to turn into defensiveness.”
“I don’t want to feel like communication is a battle.”
She’s not asking for silence.
She’s asking for resolution.

I want an emotionally intelligent man!
When a woman says she wants an emotionally intelligent man…
she’s not talking about feelings.
She’s talking about emotional safety.
Not financial safety.
Not just physical presence.
She’s saying:
I want to be understood without having to over-explain.
I want my emotions to be met, not dismissed.
I don’t want to feel like I’m too much… or not enough.
I want to communicate without it turning into conflict or shutdown.
Because emotional intelligence in a man looks like:
• Self-awareness
• Emotional regulation
• The ability to listen without defensiveness
• The capacity to respond with understanding, not ego
It’s not about being soft.
It’s about being aware enough to create security.

Some of you may have seen the viral video of a delivery driver being confronted during a delivery in San Diego. That driver is my brother.
He was verbally harassed, threatened, and called racial slurs while doing his job. He remained calm and professional. Shortly after the video went viral, he was terminated from his job.
This GoFundMe is to support him with rent, bills, groceries, and transportation while he looks for new work and regains stability.
If you can donate, thank you. If you can’t, sharing the link and leaving words of encouragement means just as much. 🤍
