Legacy Springs Farm Legacy Springs Farm is a multigenerational farm located in Southern Oregon.

Our baker, Loretta Sayers, specializes in organic sourdough breads and baked goods.

Nestled near the old-growth vineyard, the bakery and farm stands are open year round.

Perhaps a little probiotic homemade ginger beer will be in order by the end of the week??

Easy to make, delicious and gut healthy ginger ale for the win!

First: make a ginger bug by adding sliced ginger and unrefined sugar to a jar. Give it a good shake then cover with a cloth. Leave it on the counter feeding it a little more ginger and sugar each day for 3-5 days.

Then add 2 liters of filtered water and 200 grams of unrefined sugar and 54 grams of grated ginger to a saucepan. Bring to a boil and then simmer 10 minutes. Cool to room temp and then pour through a sieve.

Add 1/2 cup of the ginger bug, juice of two lemons and then pour into sterile bottles. Round bottles are best because of the natural carbonation.

Store 3-6 days at room temperature and then pop open and enjoy!

Stonehenge is one of the most famous landmarks in the world with over one million visitors each year.

Visiting this amazing place during off season was such a gift.

Needing to get to Grants Pass today and the fires have us going up 96. This is Hoopa (which has a huge camp set up for firefighters).

Wow, tonight’s sky!!

Emerald Bay at Lake Tahoe can be quite busy with people and cars. Driving through during midday the place was lined on both sides with parked cars and drivers going slow to try and catch a glimpse of this beautiful bay.

But....at dawn, all is quiet.
