Scoring Format
Two out of three sets to 6 games, ad scoring, with a 10 point tiebreaker for the third set.

The USD 259 Middle School Summer Program is a free opportunity for incoming 7th and 8th graders in Wichita Public Schools to learn and enjoy tennis in a fun, supportive environment. Hosted at Riverside Tennis Center throughout June, the program includes practice Monday's and Wednesday's and match play sessions on Friday's.

Led by experienced high school coaches and Riverside Tennis Center pros, this program helps students develop fundamental skills, build confidence, and connect with future teammates before entering high school. Every participant will receive a free tennis racquet, a program T-shirt, and all the necessary equipment to ensure they have everything needed to play. No online registration. As you make plans for the holiday, here’s a look at Wichita Park & Recreation facility hours for Memorial Day (Monday, May 25):

• Park Administrative Offices and Recreation Centers will be closed
• Golf Wichita and Riverside Tennis Center will remain open with regular programming
• Four of the six Wichita Public Pools will be open from 1-5pm; visit wichita.gov/aquatics for details
• Splash pads will be open from 10am-8pm
• OJ Watson Park will close at 6pm, with amusement rides closing at 5pm
